SunTrust and BB&T (another bank on our list of best Florida banks) merged in 2019, and on January 13, 2020, announced their new branding as Truist Purple. Both financial institutions will continue to operate under their own names for approximately 18-24 months, which is why we’ve kept both banks listed separately.
